ColoradoStrong started as a result of the Waldo Canyon Fire in Colorado Springs, but we are not limited to focusing on wildfires. Any tragedy in our beautiful state weighs on us heavily and we feel for our neighbors, wherever they may be. Right now, proceeds from the ColoradoStrong wristbands are going to the Colorado State Firefighter's Association. We are awaiting a response from them as we requested an appropriate time and place to submit our first donation in person. We know there are some out there that question where funds might go and we understand that. We'd like to physically show that we are actively donating our proceeds.
There are a few events coming up in Colorado Springs that you will be able to catch us at. You can come get a wristband in person! The first event is tomorrow from noon to 9 at Bancroft Park in Old Colorado City. Come say "thanks" to emergency responders. There will be food and music. It should be a great time! If you see us, say "hi'!
