569th Engineer Company/Afghanistan update

Yet AGAIN!  ColoradoStrong and it's amazing supporters are spreading strength and love worldwide!  Ft. Carson's own 569th Engineer Company asked and they received!  They opened a new USO and needed sports themed items, which they cannot get in Afghanistan.  Naturally, Colorado loves it's heroes and stepped up!  We received this photo and message from them when they received their package a few days ago:

It’s always a great feeling receiving a package while you are deployed…It’s even a better feeling when the package comes from a organization that give so much back to the Colorado community…For people to take time out of their busy life to send a little bit of home to us means so much! Sending a HUGE shout out to ColoradoStrong and everyone who donated Items to the 569th Engineer Company USO!!! The support you all send is amazing!! The Soldiers and I Thank You!!! ~Dan Rathke

In the summer, we had originally sent them ColoradoStrong wristbands and received our most amazing photos to date.  On top of that, they sent us a donation!  Can you believe that?  THEM thanking US?  Unbelievable.  These are your heroes and they are some amazing people as well.  We can't wait for them to be safe at home, hopefully early 2013.  From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU AND OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
