Pretty cool story you might want to check out. Jeffrey Moore is a firefighter and paramedic that is riding his bike from California to NY for his 2014 Fire Service Tribute Ride. He left CA the first week of July and will end in NY on 9/11 in time for the anniversary event. He is staying at fire stations all along the way, including in Denver on 8/1 and Colorado Springs on 8/2. According to his site, his 2 goals are to respect, remember and honor all fallen firefighters and to promote a positive image of the American fire service. It's no secret we love our firefighters and first responders here in CO and would love to give him a warm welcome. We are donating proceeds from purchases of our merchandise now through 8/2 to his cause, which is the Fallen FireFighters Foundation. It is our hope to have a donation to personally hand him while he is here in town on Saturday. It would be awesome to spread the word to help his cause!
